She is the Founder of HEAL Ministries: Hope Endures Amid Loss™ and the President of The Jimmy Carroll Foundation, a non-profit created in her husband’s memory. She is an author, blogger, and award-winning speaker, passionate about God’s Word and the One she met and fell in love with on its pages.
She marvels over God’s handiwork in its glorious and myriad forms, is firmly convinced puppy breath should be bottled and sold, and has never met a cupcake she didn’t like.

From the time I was old enough to read, I devoured words, fascinated by their ability to transport, teach, and delight. With just twenty-six letters, simply rearranged and shuffled, poetry, masterpieces, sagas, classics, manifestos, and fairytales have been created and preserved for posterity. They are, in a word, (pun intended) magical.
They comfort, they heal, they confront, they inspire. They are the scaffolding upon which dreams are constructed, losses grieved, and seasons chronicled.
They are what I would speak to you, were I blessed enough to sit across the table from you. They are the life raft I would toss your way in troubled seas. They are the peace that results upon realizing another knows your pain. They are a gift from the very Word, Himself.
With gratitude and humility I present them to you, praying they will offer you the same hope and healing that have been mine.
